# Order Types

The API supports several order types:

  • New Install: Provision a new service at a customer address
  • Modify: Change characteristics or configuration of an existing service
  • Cease: Terminate an active service
  • Amend: Update an in-flight order (before completion)
  • Cancel: Cancel an order before it is fulfilled

Note: Amend and Cancel actions can be placed on in-flight orders before the Point of No Return (PONR), which is defined as 18:00 on the working day before the committed date.
