# Order Types
The API supports several order types:
- New Install: Provision a new service at a customer address
- Modify: Change characteristics or configuration of an existing service
- Cease: Terminate an active service
- Amend: Update an in-flight order (before completion)
- Cancel: Cancel an order before it is fulfilled
Note: Amend and Cancel actions can be placed on in-flight orders before the Point of No Return (PONR), which is defined as 18:00 on the working day before the committed date.
